A farewell picture of the Cathedral, looking warm and inviting in the evening hours. That's the camera's doing, but they said it was once all painted in bright colours. To traveling pilgrims, after a long and dangerous journey, the epic proportions and bright colours seemed to be a perfect example of what life might be like. There would have been elaborate scenes of Biblilcal pictures, much like the stained glass windows.
